PHAR1210 : Introduction to Pharmacy Practice

This course introduces the student to the practice of pharmacy and typical duties of a pharmacy technician. This course also provides an understanding of the various organizations which provide healthcare services with particular emphasis on the provision of pharmaceutical care in each organization. The course content includes terminology and abbreviations, law and ethical principles with application to pharmacy practice, technology in the pharmacy field, and patient record systems.
