CRST1133 : Sterile Processing II

This course is a continuation of CRST1123 Sterile Processing I. It is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction into the field of sterile processing with insight and overview of the Central Service (CS) department and its technicians. Major subjects covered include processing high and low temperature sterilization, sterile storage, transport, monitoring, ancillary departments, safety, communication and professional development.  Related medical/surgical terminology is integrated throughout the course.
